SAN DIEGO – LifeProof athlete Jarryd McNeil earned his second medal of the day at X Games Minneapolis with a silver medal in Moto X Best Whip.

McNeil, 25, captured 25 percent of the fan vote. He entered the competition defending two gold medals from 2015 and 2016 Best Whip. His run of four podium finishes over the last two X Games brings his career medal count to nine.

McNeil reached a maximum height of 44 feet earlier in the day to capture gold in the LifeProof Moto X Step Up. He competes in The Real Cost Moto X Quarterpipe High Air on Sunday.
