SAN DIEGO – Tom Schaar took home silver in his first event at X Games Minneapolis on Saturday with a score of 91.66 in the America’s Navy Skateboard Big Air Finals.

The second place finish earned Schaar his sixth X Games medal.

Schaar carded an 85.33 on his first run and held onto first place until the fourth round. The run marks a strong return for Schaar, who wasn’t able to compete in last year’s competition due to weather.

Schaar is competing in the Toyota Skateboard Park Finals on Sunday.
