SAN DIEGO – LifeProof, the official protective smartphone case of X Games, congratulates Bobby Brown on his silver medal in Men’s Ski Big Air at X Games Aspen 2016.

Brown, 24, scored a combined 85.00 with his first two runs, despite dismal weather conditions.

“My plan was totally altered for sure,” said Brown. “We are rolling in and we could barely clear the jump, so it was a little challenging out there. But you gotta roll with what comes at you and I landed a few things that I was pretty psyched on, so it was good times out there.”

Brown, a Colorado native, battled excess snow on the course as the night went on.

“This is X Games, no matter what the weather is like, it is always that high intensity, high energy, extremely fun event,” said Brown. “So I wouldn’t say it was very different, just a little more snow than usual, but it is what it is.”

The LifeProof athlete was the first skier to take two gold medals at a single X Games and has been on the X Games podium a total of six times with last night’s win.

Brown’s performance scored the third medal for LifeProof athletes at X Games Aspen 2016. Kevin Rolland took home gold in Men’s Ski SuperPipe on Thursday and Sebastien Toutant took silver in Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle on Saturday.
