SAN DIEGO – LifeProof, the official waterproof case of X Games, congratulates Quebec’s Sebastien Toutant on his epic performance today. Toutant earned a silver medal in Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle at X Games Aspen 2016.

Toutant, 23, scored a 90.00 on his first run.

“It feels good,” said Toutant on his silver-medal win. “I think what really scored well was I had some really technical rail on top and a solid clean run on the jump, and that did it.”

With the high score of the finals’ first run, some of the pressure was alleviated for the rest of the competition.

“It definitely put the pressure off me, especially getting 90 in the first run,” said Toutant. “But I really wanted to do back to back triple, like Mark McMorris did on the first and last. Really happy, second place is not bad at all.”

Prior to this win, the LifeProof snowboard athlete took fourth in Snowboard Big Air Friday night. He came to Aspen this year with four X Games medals under his belt, including two golds.

Toutant’s performance scored the second medal for LifeProof athletes at X Games Aspen 2016. Kevin Rolland took home gold in Men’s Ski SuperPipe on Thursday.
