SAN DIEGO, Jan. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- X Games Aspen is the epicenter of winter action sports. From Jan. 26-29, LifeProof returns as one of the official sponsors of X Games Aspen with a star-studded roster of athletes including Bobby Brown, Sebastien Toutant and Kevin Rolland, and new snowsports team member Darrin Mees.

LifeProof is the title sponsor of the 2017 Men's Ski SuperPipe competition. Rolland, the returning gold medalist, headlines the event.

Mees, 27, will compete in his first X Games as a Snow BikeCross athlete. He's qualified three times for X Games Aspen in SnoCross. The father of two also runs his own suspension company in Redmond, Ore. and even finds time to race motocross. He'll compete in X Games Aspen's inaugural Snow BikeCross finals Jan. 27.

Brown is a six-time medalist at X Games. He took home silver in Ski Big Air at X Games Aspen 2016 and was a 2014 Olympian. The Colorado native will compete in Ski Big Air and Ski Slopestyle.

Rolland put an exclamation point on his time at X Games Aspen 2016 with a dramatic gold-medal-winning run in his final attempt of Ski SuperPipe. The Frenchman also finished second in the event in 2014 and 2015, and he'll defend his crown in the LifeProof Men's Ski SuperPipe finals on Jan. 27.

Toutant finished second in Snowboard Slopestyle at X Games Aspen 2016. He owns a combined five X Games medals and will compete in both Snowboard Slopestyle and Snowboard Big Air.

LifeProof will be on site at the X Fest Deck delivering product giveaways and games and a phone-charging station. Mees, Brown, Rolland, Toutant and LifeProof snowboarder Christy Prior will all make meet-and-greet appearances throughout the weekend.
