SAN DIEGO – After nine awe-inspiring stops across the world, LifeProof athlete Jonathan Paredes claimed second place overall at Red Bull’s Cliff Diving World Series in Dubai, UAE. Paredes finished the year in style, coming in second at Dubai with 1030 points, his fifth podium finish on the year.

Friday’s event marked the inaugural Red Bull Cliff Diving stop in Dubai and was the first night dive in World Series history.  Paredes stayed near the top of the rankings throughout the five month long competition.

After claiming third place overall in 2015, Paredes reached the podium in Texas, Denmark, Portugal and Italy, on top of his second place finish in Dubai. His fourth full season on the Red Bull Cliff Diving tour solidified his place among the greats of the sport.

Paredes’ second place finish automatically qualifies him for the 2017 World Series.
