ALLOWING KIDS TO USE THE IPHONE

But Johnnie’s Dad Lets Him Use It!

We've taken some informal surveys around the office trying to find out how many parents let their kids use their iPhones. If there are youngsters in your family, you've probably been faced with a situation where they are begging to use the iPhone.

There are good reasons to say yes and some decent reasons to say no as well. However, if the only thing holding you back from letting your kids use your iPhone is the fear of it being damaged, then there's an easy solution. Of course, if you're trying to wean your little gamer off of a serious Angry Birds addiction, you're on your own.

For the first scenario, a shockproof, dirt proof and waterproof iPhone case lets you rest easy. We suppose LifeProof should also start labeling these cases "kid proof" because when you add up all our other "proofs" engineered into LifeProof iPhone cases, they cover virtually anything bad that can happen when an iPhone falls into little hands.

Back to our office survey: Almost everyone lets their kids use their iPhones on occasion, but that’s probably be due to the fact that our staff is pretty dedicated to our products. Most of us have experienced first hand what can happen to an iPhone when it's not under the protection of a LifeProof case.

In any case, it's a good thing to be able to trust your phone to your kids and not have to worry about it. During long road trips you can pass it to the back seat and know that you're probably going to get a little peace and quiet on the next leg of your journey.

You might also find that kids use iPhones in many interesting ways and some of these can be very informative for the inquisitive parent. For example, when you check out the photos your children have taken with your iPhone, you might discover with whom they are really hanging out with.

Here it is with kid gloves:

• Kids can be pretty tough on iPhones
• A shockproof, dirt proof and waterproof iPhone case is also kid proof
• Allowing kids to use a LifeProof-protected iPhone is a good idea
